The Tombstone Jack™ is the ultimate solution for lifting, leveling, and resetting tablets, tombstones, and monuments in under 45 minutes with minimal effort and maximum confidence and safety. The jack preserves our heritage by ensuring monuments remain upright and secure. Suitable for lifting up to 12,000 lbs, it’s essential for cemetery preservation, reducing the risk of injury and damage to both personnel and the monument.
How it Works:
- Position the jack at the base of the tombstone with clamps. Utilize lift feet for monuments weighing 3,500-12,000 lbs.
- The jack allows total control, ensuring the monument is raised safe and evenly.
- Monitor the lifting process to avoid any tilting or shifting. Use rubber pads for smooth surface gripping or replace them with [technician-supplied] wood from a 2” x 6” – cut 4” x 4” square for rough-cut monuments.
- Recommended foundation: ¾” washed gravel
- Carefully lower the tablet, tombstone, or monument to the leveled gravel foundation using the jack.
